Brendan Quinn—Web Developer and Graphic Designer

For the last 10 years, Brendan Quinn has narrowly escaped having ever been stuck in a cubicle. His first website was an informational guide on how to properly make toast. It won a handful of honors including Yahoo!'s site of the day way back in 1997, and ultimately lead to being hired onto a small group of amazing designers in Southern California as their lead developer for several websites, including a pair of sites for Comedy Central shows that disappeared far too quickly.

Following that, Brendan was transplanted into another boutique design studio run by the dude who painted the portrait of Vigo from Ghostbusters II. There, he continued on as senior developer and gradually added project and account manager titles to his list of responsibilities. At one awful point, he managed accounts in London, Tokyo and Detroit for Visteon Corporation (Ford's spun-off electronics division) meaning that every day was essentially a 24-hour shift thanks to the wonder of time zones. Most importantly, he developed an eye for design and a passion for good typography.

After five years there, he went back to school to finish an AA in Mathematics by taking one class in Business and one class in Cartooning (yeah, that made plenty of sense). And finally wound up in the Tri-Cities as the web and design guy for P. S. Media.

Brendan lives with his wife Kat here in Kennewick. He's as much of a technophile as his budget will allow and still gets irked when he sees someone use two spaces after a period.
